Training in reading technical drawings is not widely available in the market, resulting in difficulties for partner organizations in accessing qualified instructors. To address this issue, the Industrial Engineering Lecturer team from UMJ organized a community service initiative aimed at enhancing knowledge and understanding of technical drawing interpretation. The primary partner in this initiative is Partisipasi Keluarga dan Masyarakat. The program followed a structured process that began with identifying challenges faced by the partner organization, prioritizing issues that required immediate intervention, and developing solutions through targeted training sessions. Feedback was gathered through evaluations conducted at the conclusion of the training. The training sessions included the presentation of instructional materials, interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and evaluation activities. Implementation was carried out online via the Zoom video conferencing platform. The training content focused on four key areas: standardization, interpretation of technical drawings, welding symbols, and tolerances. Participants in the training comprising the sales and production team of PT. ISTW gained improved knowledge and understanding of technical drawings. Based on the evaluation results, the training successfully enhanced participants’ comprehension and skills, enabling them to perform their professional responsibilities more effectively within the company.
