The management of stunting in Sidoarjo Regency has experienced fluctuations in case rates over the years. In August 2020, the prevalence of stunting was recorded at 8.24%, which decreased to 7.9% in February 2021 but then increased to 14.8% in 2021 and 16.1% in 2022. In an effort to address this issue, 29 villages, including Sawocangkring Village, were designated as priorities. Prevention strategies included early detection at Posyandu (integrated health service posts), involving health cadres trained in the 5 Table Posyandu techniques and individual guidance for at-risk toddlers. Training results showed a significant increase in cadres' knowledge; before the training, 92.3% had sufficient knowledge, while after the training, 53.8% demonstrated good knowledge, with Wilcoxon test results indicating significance (sig = 0.011). The training took place on June 20 and 27, 2024, with 13 cadres participating, and Posbindu PTM (integrated non-communicable disease services) were conducted monthly. Early detection indicated that out of 145 registered toddlers, there were no cases of stunting. The program successfully established two Posyandu working groups, each consisting of six cadres, to enhance the effectiveness of stunting management in the community.
